Summer Sayings ☀️⛱️ in 2024

Yellow butterflies look like flowers flying through the warm summer air.

Summer is a promissory note signed in June, its long days spent and gone before you know it, and due to be repaid next January.

Summer is a state of mind.

In June, as many as a dozen species may burst their buds on a single day. No man can heed all of these anniversaries; no man can ignore all of them.

The crickets felt it was their duty to warn everybody that summertime cannot last forever. Even on the most beautiful days in the whole year – the days when summer is changing into autumn – the crickets spread the rumor of sadness and change.

Ah, summer – that long anticipated stretch of lazy, lingering days, free of responsibility and rife with possibility. It’s a time to hunt for insects, master handstands, practice swimming strokes, conquer trees, explore nooks and crannies, and make new friends.

Summer is the annual permission slip to be lazy. To do nothing and have it count for something. To lie in the grass and count the stars. To sit on a branch and study the clouds

I was made for sunny days

A lot of parents pack up their troubles and send them off to summer camp.

Deep summer is when laziness finds respectability.

Hip, Hip, Hooray for the Hot Summer Day!
